Cane amato is Italian for beloved dog. That's how we welcome every dog through our door: with patient, gentle hands, the finest care for their coat and all the time they need, until they head home happy, fresh and, above all, beloved.

How often should my dog be groomed?
Most dogs love a full groom every 4–8 weeks, with a bath or tidy in between. Long and curly coats (poodles, doodles, Maltese) do best every 4–6 weeks.
How much does a visit cost?
Every dog is different, so the price depends on size, coat condition and temperament. We give you a personal quote when we meet your dog, always before we start.
How long does a visit take?
From about 45 minutes for a small dog's bath to around 3 hours for a full groom on a giant breed, plus any extras. We'll message you as soon as your dog is ready.
Does my dog need to be vaccinated?
Yes. For everyone's safety, vaccinations and parasite protection should be up to date. Please bring the health booklet on your first visit.
My dog is anxious or elderly. Can you help?
Absolutely. We work calmly, one dog at a time, with breaks whenever needed. Tell us about any fears or health issues when you book and we'll plan around them.
What if my dog's coat is matted?
Light tangles can be gently brushed out. For heavy matting, a short clip is the kindest option, and we always discuss it with you first.
Can I cancel or reschedule?
Of course. Just let us know at least 24 hours in advance so we can offer the slot to another pup.
